ORLANDO, Fla: The world’s premier Halloween event at Universal Orlando Resort is about to be scarier. This year at Halloween Horror Nights Universal has added a tenth haunted house to the event. This is the first time in the history of the 28-year-old event that 10 haunted houses will be presented, giving guests more fear than ever.

The details of the tenth haunted house will soon be revealed.

For 34 nights selected starting from September 14 to November 3, the horrors of the 1980s will invade this year’s Halloween Nights of Terror. Great movie characters, slashers films, cult classics and original nightmares inspired by the past will come alive as guests face 10 realistic haunted houses based on the most terrifying names in pop culture, including Netflix’s sci-fi thriller “Stranger Things” and Legendary Pictures’ Halloween classic “Trick ‘r Treat” – and five sinister scare zones.

Universal also revealed the details about some scare zones for guests of Halloween Horror Nights 2018.

As they venture into the park, they’ll be pursued by voracious punk, material girl and metal head vampires in Vamp 85: New Year’s Eve, they will be confronted with beings of rotted pumpkins and fetid vines seeking human sacrifices in Twisted Tradition, fall victim to foul and decrepit creatures in The Harvest and more. Plus, Academy of Villains will return with an all-new high energy performance.

More details about this year’s event will be revealed soon.
