Québec, Canada: Super Aqua Club waterpark has been the leading specialist in aquatic fun in Quebec since 1985, and receives 300,000 visitors per season on average. The park was owned by the Rybicki family up until 2011, when Mr. Réjean Julien Proulx, who had been its Operating Director since 1986, became the sole proprietor.
Visitors can enjoy more than 45 slides of all types, built across a magnificent site bordered by a real sand beach on the edge of Pointe-Calumet Lake. The most popular attractions at super aqua club are WIPE ZONE a family game, La Tempête is a big attraction for kids and parents with slides and fun water games, La Torande a big scary slide on tubes for four persons is also very popular.
In July 2016, park added a water coaster TSUNAMI, build with an investment of $3.5million, this attraction has quickly picked popularity among coaster enthusiasts.
Super Aqua Club employs 350 employees, including 160 highly-qualified lifeguards, which permits them to ensure the rigorous supervision of visitors of the park, which is considered to be one of the safest in North America. The best time to visit the park is “June 24th till middle of august. Mondays and Tuesdays are more quiet,” says Réjean Julien Proulx, CEO of Super Aqua Club. “Our selling proposition is about prices regarding number of attractions and things to do. ALso people can bring their own lunch, food and drinks and the parking is free.”
