Europa-Park launched Paddington VR ride

Germany: Visitors of Europa-Park can experience a brand new interactive VR animation featuring Paddington Bear.

Paddington is a fictional character in children’s literature, written by English author Michael Bond and illustrated by Peggy Fortnum and other artists. This friendly bear first appeared on 13 October 1958 in the children’s book  A Bear Called Paddington.

Launching for the 2017 winter season, the Paddington VR ride will take gamers on a Paddington Run through the streets of London on smartphones and tablets.  This family game is downloadable on the App Store, Google Play and Windows Store.

Guests of Germany’s largest theme park will have this thrilling experience on Alpenexpress Coastiality ride. With the addition of Paddington, the virtual reality adventure of Alpenexpress Coastiality expands to four experiences, all produced by MackMedia.

Sky Explorers
This virtual reality adventure is based on mobile game Voletarium: Sky Explorers. It transforms all riders into the roles of a pilot so they can experience unique countryside and villages from above.

In this VR adventure, riders will accompany the Swiss Schellen Ursli, known from the cinema hit with the same name, during their glissade through the Alpes!

Riders will immerse themselves in the world of Paddington by following Paddington Bear through his adventure in a new virtual reality.

Europa-Park is open during the winter season until the 7th January 2018 (excluding 24th/25th December).

From the beginning of the 2017 winter season, Paddington will be found throughout Europa-Park.
Lovely Paddington articles will be available for visitors in the English themed area.  A 30-minute interactive show in the Greek-themed area will be focused on various aspects of the beloved children’s book, especially Paddington’s favorite food – marmalade sandwiches.

From the beginning of the 2018 summer season on 24th March 2018, Paddington can be seen greeting guests of the new ice show.
