Efteling New attraction Symbolica to open on 1 July 2017

Efteling shows first images of King’s Hall in new Making Of episode

Kaatsheuvel, Netherlands: The new Efteling attraction, Symbolica: Palace of Fantasy, will open its doors to the public on 1 July. At the moment, work is being carried out on the palace that will have a place of honour in the Dutch theme park, to celebrate its 65th anniversary.

In the newest episode of the making of Symbolica, the way in which the acoustics in the large space are fine-tuned can be seen. The episode also explains how the attraction’s special vehicles, the Fantasy Carriages, will ‘dance’ across the floor of the impressive royal chamber.

As of 1 July, Efteling’s visitors will be able to experience the new covered family attraction Symbolica dark ride, an enchanting palace in which nothing is what it seems. It will be the biggest and most expensive attraction in the history of Efteling. Everyone is invited for an audience with the king and Magic Jester Pardoes will ensure that each visit is surprising and enchanting. Visitors will be led through secret corridors and royal rooms while continuously being amazed.
