Orlando: Universal Orlando’s 2016 Mardi Gras Celebration continues this weekend with performances by Motown icon Diana Ross on Saturday, February 13, and rock band Barenaked Ladies on Sunday, February 14.
Universal Orlando’s Mardi Gras celebration continues on select nights through April 16. Along with live concerts by some of today’s hottest artists, guests can also enjoy mouthwatering Cajun cuisine, authentic New Orleans bands in the French Quarter Courtyard and a dazzling parade, featuring 12 vibrant floats – including four new additions that celebrate different cultures and festivals from around the world: Venetian Carnival, Oktoberfest, 4th of July and Rio de Janeiro Carnival.
Ross’ famed and remarkable career spanning almost five decades has resulted in major awards, accolades and music history milestones. And After 27 years together, more than 14 million albums sold and several GRAMMY nominations, Canadian rock band Barenaked Ladies continues to fire on all cylinders. With the release of their latest album, Silverball, in 2015, the band will embark on the Last Summer on Earth 2016 Tour, which kicks off in June of this year.
