Branson, MO: The 1880 Silver Dollar City theme park presents The Festival Of Wonder from April 11. Music, athletic performance, and acrobatics are designed to provide an incredible entertainment experience to guest visiting the festival.
“It’s extremely challenging finding just the right acts for this festival,” shares Rex Burdette, Silver Dollar City Entertainment & Events Manager, who has been booking acts at the park for over 25 years.
New acts at this year’s festival
CirqUnique, showcasing an out-of-this-world contortionist from Asia.
The DiabloDiva juggler, a seventh generation juggler from a circus performing family that has been fascinating audiences throughout Europe.
A fire juggler with multiple Guinness world records.
A slack wire artist from Russia performing unbelievable acrobatic feats on a loose high wire.
Extreme pole-balancing duo with an act that features a bicyclist riding upside down.
The other thrilling performers are X-Pogo Stuntmen, the world’s most extreme Pogo performance team based in the US, holding 13 Guinness World Records for incredible Pogo stunts incorporating jumps and flips nine feet in the air.
The festival will also showcase performances by world-renowned illusionist Canadian Vitaly Beckman and mandolin virtuoso Radim Zenkl.
Earth Harp Collective, this is the largest playable string instrument in the world with 75-foot strings that extend throughout the theatre. Guest can also see new 9-foot orb covered in drumheads and other unique musical instruments by visionary William Close.
The festival experience is incomplete without speed painting by Paint Jam of Texas and unique culinary dishes served up in Foods of Wonder.
Spring season festival concludes with the opening of the new $ 26 million ride Time Traveler. The biggest attraction in Silver Dollar City is the fastest, steepest and Tallest Complete-Circuit Spinning Roller Coaster in the world.
