Sydney, Australia: Calling all chocoholics! On Easter Sunday, kids and adults alike can take part in Luna Park’s eggciting and mouthwatering 15,000-strong Easter egg hunt. The race will be on to see who can collect the most eggs, provided by master confectioner, Darrell Lea.
Aiming to get the crowd ‘howling into the moonlight’, everyone’s favourite rockabilly band, Rumblin’ Wolf, will also be performing live at the park along with the lofty and loveable stilt walking, Easter Bunny, who will entertain the child in all of us.
If that doesn’t get you into the Easter spirit, then you can hop along to the face-painting corner and transform yourself into the Easter bunny! Be sure to wipe the chocolate from your face first!
The ‘eggtivities’ will continue to ‘eggroll’ into April. To celebrate the release of Alvin & The Chipmunks, Road Chip to Blu-ray™, DVD and Digital HD, come on down to Luna Park on Sunday 3 April to meet your favourite furry trio and enjoy some free screenings of the film.
Visitors will also be in with the chance of winning the ultimate family road trip prize. The prize includes seven nights use of an Apollo Motorhome, staying at selected BIG4 Holiday Parks across Australia – this competition is not to be bunny hopped over! The winner will also bag themselves a brand new iPad and all four of the Alvin and The Chipmunk blockbuster films on iTunes for ‘eggceptional’ in-car entertainment.
Guaranteed to get you hopping with glee, Luna Park has also brought in especially, fairground favourite, the Spinning Teacups and for those who enjoy the thrill of dizzying heights, a giant slide. Get yourself down to St. Kilda’s Luna Park to enjoy the seaside breezes and picturesque views overlooking the famous Port Phillip Bay. Favourites such as the iconic Scenic Railway and the traditional Carousel prove why the park is still a much-loved attraction for so many Melburnians and tourists alike
