Holiday World Hiring 2,200 for Season

Santa Claus, Indiana: Holiday World Theme Park & Splashin’ Safari Water Park officials hope to see a record number of job applications as they prepare to hire for 2,200 seasonal jobs in the coming months.

“We’re looking for friendly and energetic individuals who enjoy working with people,” says Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari President Matt Eckert. “We need ride operators, lifeguards, and sweepers, plus staff for admissions, grounds, shops, games and foods. We’re like a small city – and have quite a variety of jobs available; this season our city also includes a brand new steel roller coaster.”

Most of the seasonal jobs at the park are available only to applicants who are 16 years of age or older by April 2015. Some other jobs require a minimum age of 14 years at the date of application. Retirees and other adults searching for a seasonal job can apply as well.

The benefits of Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari Seasonal job include a personal Season Pass, discounts on food and park products, free non-alcoholic beverages, employee parties, incentive programs, prizes, free admission to other parks, and more.

This season, the park will once again provide transport facility to seasonal employees. A bus will be available at a nominal cost from Huntingburg, Newburgh, Boonville, Evansville and Tell City, Indiana, plus Owensboro, Kentucky. This season, there will be an additional itinerary available for employees in the Princeton, Indiana area.

With the launch of nation’s first wing coaster Thunderbird, the theme park opens for the season on April 25. Splashin’ Safari Water Park will open on May 13th.
