Cornwall, United Kingdom: Flambards will host its first Christmas Craft Fair featuring local crafters and businesses all showcasing their wares. The family-friendly fair will have the all magic of Christmas in this unique location, plus Father Christmas will be visiting throughout the weekend.
The festive stalls, which will be set within the cobbled streets of the indoor Victorian Village, Britain in the Blitz and in Flambard’s bespoke entertainment venue, will be showcasing around 50 designer-makers, gifts, crafts and goodies as well as delicious food and drink produce.
Manager Richard Smith says: “We are delighted to be hosting our first Christmas Craft Fair which will bring the Victorian Village and the Entertainment Venue to life with plenty of festive fun.”
He continues: “It will be a great start to the Christmas season for visitors to begin getting into the festive spirit and to start (or finish) their Christmas shopping.”
Organisers Kate Pearson and Shirley Cookson add: “We are really looking forward to hosting our first Christmas Fair at Flambards. With so many high quality stall holders all in one place (and under cover) there will be lots for visitors to enjoy.”
Kate continues: “A recent Christmas Craft Fair attracted over 2000 visitors per day, so we are expecting a fantastic turnout again this year. The Christmas Craft Fair at Flambards will champion affordable excellent quality goods, locally produced foods and a festive feel in a great location.”
Once the stocking fillers have been bought visitors can relax in the Village Café or tuck in to a tasty local hog roast, available throughout the weekend.
Enjoy Christmas music from Helston Town Band and follow the trail around the village to find all the stalls whilst enjoying the exhibits. Father Christmas will be making a rather spectacular entrance on Saturday morning and together with his elves will be meeting families in the Park for a chat and photo opportunities.
For this weekend entrance to the Christmas Fair is £1.00 per person – which includes entrance to the Victorian Village and Britain in the Blitz, as well as free parking.
