Derek Hunter, M&Ds General Manager shares details about five most popular thrill rides at the park. “With over 40 major rides and attractions, M&D’s has something for all the family. Thrill-seekers can enjoy an exciting range of white knuckle roller-coasters and rides including the Tsunami, Tornado, White Water, Magic Carpet, Runaway Mine Train, Captain’s Curse and Devils Island Golf, whilst younger kids can enjoy the Big Apple ride, Big Wheel, Flying Jumbos and soft play area – Krazy Congo.”
In 2016, M&D’s theme park is jam-packed with exciting rides including the new Giant Condor. ” New for this year is the Giant Condor, which soars up to 30m and provides awesome views over the rest of the theme park, Strathclyde Park and Lanarkshire. M&D’s is also home to Amazonia, Scotland’s only indoor tropical rainforest. The collection of rainforest creatures and plant life is unique to any zoo and include monkeys, bats, snakes, tarantulas, fish, parrots and frogs. You can buy online wristband for visitors under 1.3m is £13.90; over 1.3m is £18.45. Entry is free for children under 3, but they must be accompanied by a paying adult.
