Eerily beautiful Halloween at Europa-Park


Rust, Germany: Enjoy once again the perfect mixture of spookiness and horror. From 26th September to 8th November 2015, Halloween will be underway at Germany’s biggest theme park. 180,000 pumpkins, countless sweetcorn plants, chrysanthemums and bales of straw will transform Europa-Park into an impressive autumn landscape where ghoulish ghosts get up to mischief. Of course the show program, the parade, the food, the hotels and the attractions are all gearing up for this spooky season too. And from 25th September to 7th November, our ‘Horror Nights’ will be giving true horror fans a thrilling Halloween experience.

Halloween at Germany’s largest theme park is an absolute must: 180,000 pumpkins in all shapes and shades of orange will make their mark on the park landscape. On top of that, 15,000 chrysanthemums, 6,000 bales of straw, 3,000 sweetcorn plants, cobweb-trees and ghostly illuminations will guarantee an extraordinary atmosphere from 26th September to 8th November.

Halloween Specials

Germany’s most elaborate Halloween display provides the perfect setting for this autumn’s show highlights. Younger visitors can get their first experience of being spooked in the Euromaus-Halloween-Show. Monsters, creatures of the night and the notorious ‘Nachtkrabb’ will send a chill down the spines of spectators at the Europa-Park Halloween-Parade. The world’s biggest pumpkin will tempt all the adventurous types to take a high-speed ride on the ‘Pumpkin Coaster’. In the flashing lights, scary music and mist in the Dutch-themed area, the coffee cups are transformed into ‘Griezelkopjes’, or horror cups. The ‘Feria Swing’ provides a totally new ride experience – backwards! Of course, Europa-Park culinary delights and those of the hotels also have a truly autumnal theme. The finest specialities, such as the Halloween wrap and the Monster sausage await visitors in the restaurants and cafes.

Spook Me! The Europa-Park Musical

Once again, ‘Spook Me! The Europa Park Musical’, running from 26th September to 8th November, offers visitors a thrilling and enjoyable experience. This musical tells a story of love, courage and freedom. The Ghostly Castle is home to good spirits who just love to spook their mortal visitors. This is the Kingdom of the Ghost King Borbar, who possesses special powers to commit good deeds. But his life is in danger! Thanks to Lilly, a mortal girl who is in love with Borbar’s son Tao, he is saved by the power of love at the last minute. And Tao undergoes a magical transformation. Another highlight this season is Sebastian Smulders’ appearance. A performer in musicals who is already well known for the ‘Dance of the Vampire’ amongst other things, he has agreed to take on the role of Prince Tao. Once again, the costumes and music are of particularly high quality, making each performance a unique experience for the whole family. And those who choose the evening event ‘Spook Me! The musical banquet’ will be dining in very high style. Between 2nd October and 7th November on alternate Fridays and Saturdays, visitors will be able to combine the musical with a three-course set meal.

Halloween Festival Week with ‘Mysteria presented by EnBW’

Every evening between 31st October and 8th November, our scare-hungry visitors will have the big open-air show ‘Mysteria presented by EnBW’ to look forward to, making this a really special Halloween Festival week. Its new look will cause a stir, and the themes of fire and water not only set the stage artistically for the musical highlights but will also stage the story of the history of Europa-Park. On top of that, acrobatic feats and thrilling light and laser effects will hold spectators in their thrall.

“Horror Nights”

“Horror Nights” will take place from 25 September to 7 November 2015.

Six new horror houses will scare and shock with never before seen effects and highly detailed scenery. The separate evening event has been attracting thousands of visitors each year to Germany’s largest theme park since 2007. Zombies, killer clowns and vampires turn visitors into the stars of their own horror films. All entry prices can be found at .

SWR3 Halloween Party

This year too, SWR3 is celebrating Germany’s largest Halloween party on 31 October in the Europa-Park. Amongst others, Dr. Alban, SWR3 DJs Jochen Graf, Josh Kochhann and Michael Leupold will be creating the right party atmosphere. Special guests warm up the fans of fear and dancing and rollercoaster fans can do another round on the attractions that are open longer than usual.
