Chessington,UK: Chessington World of Adventures Resort will open from 10am till 3pm at weekends throughout December and daily between 18th December and 4th January 2015 (excl. Christmas Day).
Along with many new festive attractions, The Gruffalo River Ride Adventure has also landed in the Wild Woods at Chessington. Guest will come face to face with some familiar creature while floating down the lazy river on the themed quiz trail. To extend this adventure, they can also participate in activities including photo opportunities, character meet and view special screenings of the animated film.
Accompanied by many other Gruffalo offerings across the Resort, guest can enjoy their stay at six brand new Gruffalo themed hotel rooms in the Chessington Safari Hotel with themed treats offered at new Gruffalo Bites food outlet. To make this visit more memorable, a brand new Gruffalo Gift Shop is also setup with merchandise exclusive to Chessington.
Market stalls, reindeers and a giant Christmas tree will set the scene in Market Square, and a new addition for 2014 is Father Christmas’ Grotto – a great chance for children to meet Father Christmas up until 24 December. But please note this attraction needs to be pre-booked online before you arrive. A visit to the grotto costs £5 per child, which includes a gift.
