Alton Towers Resort to Launch Enchanted Village in 2015

Staffordshire, UK: The whimsical world of The Alton Towers Resort will come to life in 2015 as it prepares to open its fantastical new Enchanted Village. This captivating hideaway is located in the woodland next to the Alton Towers Hotel and will offer a distinctive short break destination for guests with luxury tree houses and enchanting lodges.

Set amongst the Woodland, the luxury tree houses will sleep groups of eight and all have four separate bedrooms, each with their own plasma TV. Every individual tree house will have its own unique style, with luxury furnishings, self-catering facilities and a relaxing lounge area with a 50-inch plasma TV and games console. The outdoor decking area, with private hot tub, offers a great place to relax and unwind with beautiful views over the enchanting woodland.

The fantastical lodges will provide perfect family accommodation sleeping, five people. Each lodge will house a king size bed, bunk bed and truckle bed. Guests can also relax on their outdoor decking area while children have fun in the quirky play areas around the village. There is also free parking as well as access to the Theme Park and the rest of the Resort.

Dive in and explore with the Captain, Shellington, Peso and Professor Inkling and learn all about the beautiful sea creatures featured, through the interactive elements of this ride.

As our junior explorers board the GUP convoy with the Octonauts crew, they can look forward to an interactive adventure with some of their favourite characters from the CBeebies programme who will teach them how to care for our seas and wildlife.

The new junior coaster joins other CBeebies favourites at Alton Towers Resort including Postman Pat’s Parcel Post, In the Night Garden Magical Boat Ride and Mr Bloom’s Allotment.
