Adventure Park to host the annual Aqua Racer event on Australia Day

Australia day Aqua Racer Championship - Adventure Park

Wallington, Australia: Have you got what it takes to slide down Adventure Park’s awesome Aqua Racer ride in record-breaking time? Can you beat the current record, set last year, of just 5.81 seconds?

Then head down to Adventure Park this Australia Day on Tuesday 26 January for the third annual Aqua Racer Championship, an event that rewards speed and skill with great prizes. The championships see punters speeding down the park’s legendary six-lane waterslide at speeds of up to 40km an hour in a bid to win the first-place $1000 cash prize. The junior champ scores a $250 Toys R Us voucher.

Adventure Park managing director Leanne Salmon said the event was a great way to spend the public holiday, with classic Australian music playing throughout the day and a fun party atmosphere around the park.

“We see people returning each year to try to win this event, so it has become a bit of an Australia Day fixture in the region,” Ms Salmon said.

“Even if you’re not racing, the park boasts plenty of other great attractions, including our brand new Ferris Wheel, new VIP cabanas for chilling out, the Lazy River, mini golf, go karts and lots more.”
