New York, United States: Seabreeze Amusement Park also known as Seabreeze, has entertained families since 1879. Recognized as the fourth oldest amusement park in United States by National Amusement Park Historical Association (NAPHA), Seabreeze has more than 70 great attractions, including four Roller Coasters.
At Seabreeze, all four roller coasters, Jack Rabbit, Whirlwind, Bobsleds and Bear Trax are very popular. Jack Rabbit, the giant wooden roller coaster is park’s signature attraction. John Miller, known as the “father of the modern high-speed roller coaster, crafted this ride. “It is our wooden roller coaster, and the guests really enjoy it. Built in 1920, it is the oldest continuously operated roller coaster in North America, and is the first under friction coaster in the world,” says Seabreeze vice president John Norris.
The best time to visit the park are weekdays in July and August. They are the least crowded days, allowing for shorter lines – though the lines are never that long, even on weekends. Seabreeze has very strong appeal to families with children in Upstate New York. “We are quite manageable in size – not too big, not too small – with both rides and a waterpark,” said John Norris.
